She is currently training to become a registered play therapist and loves helping support parents on their journeys through parenthood and their own struggles. Sandy is passionate about helping others to heal and learn healthier coping skills to manage life’s challenges and transitions.

Sandy’s has experience working with clients who have experienced a wide range of issues, including: trauma; grief and loss; adverse life experiences; PTSD (including veterans); anxiety and depression; foster care and adoption; children/adolescents of immigrants; transition to college/adulthood; family conflict; parenting; and, child and adolescent mental health. Sandy uses evidence-based practices that match each individual’s unique needs. She believes that meeting each person where they are in their journey along with building a strong therapeutic relationship can help people to make changes in their lives.
